Chris Brown has a passion for creating art in the form of music, clothing and murals. Most of the R&B singer’s work is in Los Angeles, but this time his talent headed to Miami this weekend to create one with streetwear designer, Ron Bass. The two created a colorful mural on the side of House Of Wings in the Overtown neighborhood.
The work was set up in promotion of Art Basel, Miami’s
festival of art from Dec 4-7, 2014
Bass said a lot about
the special project and how honored he was to get the opportunity to work with
Brown:
PROGRESSION….
#CBxRB|| My daily mission
in life is to pour out love, inspire others and to be inspired by others. These
last few days have been filled with a certain type of love I can’t fully
describe in words. Thanks to my boy @ChrisBrownOfficial for teaming up with me
and helping me transition from paintbrush and acrylics to spray paint. You are
a great teacher and friend.
Thanks to the beautiful people of Overtown, Fl for opening your neighborhood
doors with open arms to allow Chris and I to give you a piece of our
imagination. Thanks to all the amazing individuals who contributed time, art
supplies and assistance. And major thanks and Praise to the Most High for
placing me under his wings so I can never leave his side. #GodIsGood #Grateful
#Thankful #Blessed #StillFloating #DreamingWhileImAwake #ArtBaselComingSoon
In addition to the art project, Brown is preparing for
his upcoming three city tour with Trey Songz. He’s also set to perform a the
2014 Soul Train on the 7th November.
